Fusion Bombs are atomic warheads powered by a small chunk of fissionable material. Uranium is the most commonly-used element, though most any Radioactive Element could be used with varying degrees of efficiency. Fusion Bombs give off a tremendous amount of heat, radiation and pressure when detonated, but their area of effect is fairly small compared to superior Mass Destruction Devices. They are similar to but significantly superior to the venerable Nuclear Bomb. The idea here, however, is to fuse two small atoms together to form a new element, giving off excess energy in the process. Fuse enough atoms and a very powerful explosion can be created.
